FAQ

Should I add more defense or more weapons first?
If the car fails before its weapons can work, test protection first. If it survives but cannot clear threats, inspect weapon coverage and placement.

The official Roblox listing invites players to add both weapons and defenses to their cars. That does not mean every run needs the same amount of each. Let the first failure in a wave tell you what to test next.

Diagnose the first failure

Watch the vehicle rather than only the final result. Which event starts the losing chain: an exposed part stops working, zombies reach a side that cannot fight back, or the car can no longer move through the wave? Write down the earliest clear event, even if something else delivers the final hit.

First visible problem Focused test
A critical part is exposed Try moving that part or placing protection between it and the approach.
One side repeatedly takes pressure Shift protection toward that side and compare the next run.
The car survives but cannot clear zombies Keep the defense baseline and inspect weapon placement.
The car becomes difficult to drive after changes Recheck the base vehicle and remove one recent addition for a comparison run.

The table describes a testing process. It does not assume a hidden health value, armor formula, or guaranteed zombie path.

Run a controlled comparison

Save your current setup in the car planner. Add a note such as “left side exposed after the first approach.” Move or replace one defensive piece, then repeat a similar wave. Record whether the same failure occurs and whether the new layout creates a different problem.

If results vary, test again before buying several copies of a part. Comparing two or three runs is more useful than treating a single long run as proof of a permanent best build.

Protect a useful car, not just a static shell

Defense only helps while the vehicle can still carry out the job you built it for. Keep checking mobility and weapon coverage after each addition. The car build guide explains those three jobs together; the beginner guide gives a simpler first-run baseline. When a protective upgrade costs cash, use the upgrade guide to decide which observed weakness deserves the next purchase.
